    The book is fantastic, orderly,well written, and most informative. I had always meant to read and become familiar with The Constitution of The United States, but had not done so. This book guides one through the entire Constitution, including all the Amendments, giving the backgrounds, and interpretations by The U.S. supreme Court. It took me about/5(54).   I am grateful to Professor David Strauss for the care and generosity with which he has engaged America’s Unwritten Constitution: The Precedents and Principles We Live By. 1 I am also grateful for Professor Strauss’s own previous work in constitutional law, work that helped me refine various ideas that ramify through my book.
